This MRi compatible cable consists of 8 RF Coax 30AWG (RG178) and 8 wire 26AWG.
Be different from cable for MRi coils ,the RF coaxial cable in this cable is 32AWG:
32AWG Coaxial Cable Characteristics and Usage:
- 32AWG coaxial cable is a thinner coaxial cable, typically used in applications that require small space, low power, and high signal transmission precision. This type of cable is often used for low-power, high-frequency signal transmission, but signal loss can be higher compared to thicker cables, making it suitable for short distances, low-power applications, or when higher signal precision is needed.
- In Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) systems, 32AWG coaxial cables might be used to transmit RF (radio frequency) or microwave signals, especially in smaller RF coils or sensors that require precise control. For example, it could be used for miniature RF coils, receiver coils, or small probes, which typically need smaller diameter cables to avoid taking up space while maintaining signal accuracy.

Possibility of No High-Frequency Signal Transmission Requirement:
- Unlike the previous configurations with RG178 coaxial cables or 26AWG coaxial cables, this setup might be suitable for applications that do not require extremely high-frequency signal transmission but still need numerous electrical connections.
- Since there are more 28AWG electronic wires, they might handle internal electrical connections, while the 32AWG coaxial cables are dedicated to more precise signal transmission.
Application :
- RF Probe or Miniature Coil Repair: The 32AWG coaxial cables, with their smaller size, are likely used for small RF probes, miniature coils, or other high-precision components that require strict space limitations.
- Sensor Systems: The 28AWG electronic wires may be used to connect sensors, probes, or other electrical systems that handle low-current signals or power requirements.
- Electrical Connections and Grounding: The 18 28AWG electronic wires might be used for grounding systems, signal references, low-voltage power supply, or current transmission for sensors, ensuring proper functioning of the entire system.
