This composite 16 core silicone cable features a robust hybrid construction: 3 Cores of 22 AWG paired with 13 Cores of 26 AWG. For alternative equipment specifications requiring slightly fewer sensor channels, we also manufacture a rugged 14 conductor cable utilizing an identical dual-gauge power and signal distribution layout. To meet the extreme mechanical stress of arthroscopic and orthopedic surgeries, every single stranded silver-plated copper conductor is integrated with a 200D Kevlar core. Extending this heavy-duty surgical ergonomics to dental applications, our custom 11 conductor medical cable also integrates multi-gauge isolation to withstand identical clinical environment stress, providing unparalleled tensile strength and flex life. The inner insulation utilizes premium, imported Daikin Japan FEP, ensuring excellent dielectric properties, low capacitance, and reliable zero-latency signal routing.
Wrapped in a high-coverage (90%) silver-plated copper braided shield and a pure PTFE binder, the cable offers superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection. The outer jacket is extruded from medical-grade silicone rubber (Gray, Shore 60A) with a finished outer diameter (OD) of 7.5 mm± 0.1mm. This biocompatible jacket provides a soft-touch, anti-friction feel and is fully rated to endure repeated autoclave sterilization cycles alongside EtO and Gamma sterilization.
